Phase 1

completed spaces

The first stage of the renovation focused on transforming the home's private living areas. Working closely with the builder and client, the design sought to create a calm and cohesive retreat while improving functionality and day-to-day living. Careful consideration was given to materiality, storage solutions and spatial planning to ensure each space felt connected and timeless.

Featured Spaces

Designed to balance practicality for a family and visual impact, the main bathroom features durable materials, generous storage and a timeless palette suited to family living. Natural textures and warm finishes create a welcoming environment while maintaining durability for everyday use.

The ensuite was designed as a contemporary retreat, combining warm timber joinery, brushed brass detailing and textured stone surfaces. Custom cabinetry maximises storage while maintaining a clean and refined aesthetic, creating a space that feels both luxurious and highly functional.

The master suite was reimagined to provide a private sanctuary within the home. By integrating a walk-in robe and dedicated mini home office, the layout supports modern living while maintaining a sense of calm and separation from the home's shared spaces for focus time.

powder room

The powder room was designed to create a memorable experience for guests while remaining consistent with the overall design direction of the home. A carefully curated combination of textures, warm timber tones and refined fixtures delivers a space that feels elevated and inviting. Although compact in scale, thoughtful detailing and material selections ensure the powder room makes a strong visual impact within the renovation.

Phase 2

Future Vision

The second stage of the renovation focuses on the home's primary living spaces. Building upon the foundation established in Phase One, the design introduces a refined and highly functional kitchen, living and dining zone, alongside a new laundry, mudroom and outdoor entertaining area. Photorealistic visualisation was used to explore design decisions and provide confidence before construction commenced.

Visualisation

The kitchen has been designed as the central hub of the home, combining generous storage, integrated appliances and durable finishes suited to family living. Natural oak tones, marble surfaces and brass detailing create a timeless yet contemporary aesthetic.
