This renovation was completed in collaboration with Bayview Renovations and involved the transformation of multiple spaces throughout the home, including the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, built-in bar and a full internal refresh with new paintwork and restored timber flooring.
Driven by the client's bold and vibrant personality, the design embraced colour, pattern and playful detailing to create a home that felt expressive, energetic and uniquely personal. The client wanted a home that reflected her outgoing personality and love of colour. Rather than following a neutral palette, the design embraced bold tones, playful textures and statement features to create spaces that felt joyful, individual and full of character.
A key focus was balancing personality with practicality. The kitchen was completely reimagined with custom joinery, improved functionality and a striking curved island that became the centrepiece of the home. Throughout the renovation, thoughtful details and hidden storage solutions were incorporated to support everyday living while ensuring each space delivered visual impact.

Designed to feel fresh and uplifting, the bathroom introduces colour and texture through soft pink tiles, warm timber joinery and carefully selected fixtures. The layered material palette creates a sense of warmth and character while maintaining the functionality required for everyday use.

The laundry demonstrates how practical spaces can still be full of personality. Custom cabinetry maximises storage while patterned floor tiles and feature splash back tiles introduce colour and visual interest. A custom recessed gap for the dog bed beneath the laundry shoot creates a playful and highly personal feature that reflects the lifestyle of the household.

The kitchen became the heart of the renovation, combining bold colour selections with highly functional custom joinery. A feature curved island anchors the space while integrated storage, concealed cabinetry and thoughtful planning ensure the kitchen performs effortlessly for everyday use. The combination of timber, white cabinetry and vibrant teal accents creates a playful yet sophisticated environment that reflects the client's personality.
The built-in bar was designed as both a functional entertaining space and a feature within the home. Custom joinery, integrated lighting and open display shelving create a dedicated zone for entertaining while complementing the broader design language used throughout the renovation. And to think this was an old coat closet!

Documentation Snapshot
A comprehensive documentation package was prepared to support pricing, approvals and construction across multiple areas of the home. This included detailed floor plans, internal elevations, joinery documentation and cabinetry details for the kitchen, laundry, bar and bathroom spaces.
Particular attention was given to custom joinery design, storage solutions and feature elements, ensuring builders, cabinet makers and trades could accurately interpret the design intent throughout construction.
